Ward Campout

Daddy and Kiera by the water. I think I might use this photo as a reference for a drawing.

We had lots of fun camping. It was the kids' first time doing it. We had so much fun we forgot to get the camera out until it was almost time to go home. Ethan was all ready and sleeping in the car for the ride home when we headed out to get some last minute pictures, so that is why there aren't any of him. But he was there.

Fourth of July Vacation '08

Grandma Glenn holds Florence and Kiera while we set off fireworks. Kiera's expression is so cute. It took her awhile to get used to all the noise.
We had to get a family picture taken while we had the chance. Ethan however had had enough and let us know it. He was a trooper though for all the other ones.
Kiera gets ready to do her first sparkler with Grandma. She is hesitant but in the end really enjoyed it.
Ethan sits on Grandpa's lap for the firework show. He didn't even flinch. He was a happy little boy the whole time.
We had to get a picture of all the cousins together while they were still in their church clothes. From left to right it is Mary, Timmy, Florence, Kaleb, Ethan and Kiera.
Kiera is flying high and having a great time in Grandma and Grandpa Glenn's backyard.
Kiera and Daddy sit next to the squirrel sculpture at the Oregon zoo.
Now it is mom's turn to sit down.
Mom tries to get the kids ready to take some family photos on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon. Ethan cooperates just great.
Now it is the grandparent's turn. Look at all those grandkids! First time all six have been together in one place.
Our Fourth of July was a great one. We spent the weekend at Robert and Shellie Glenn's. We had a great time spending time with Dan's two brothers and their wives and kids. We went to the zoo, set off fireworks, The boys helped their dad install a new ladder for the attic, and we paid a visit to Aunt Beth and Uncle Louis. It was a busy yet fun weekend.

summer's here

Summer is Finally Here. The clouds have let the sunshine take over for awhile and that gives us a chance to enjoy time together outside.
Bring on the picnics, bike rides, and camping trips!

Dan and Kiera watching the Strawberry Festival parade.

Kiera loves to play in the water now that she's gotten used to it.
She is out there constantly and sometimes she gets in while
she's still dressed (shoes and all).

Just thought this was cute. Not the best view but cute nonetheless.

Hats off to you cuties

The weather over here doesn't want to make up its mind. One day we have to go out to buy a fan, and the next we have to turn the heat back on. When it gets cold out I like to put Ethan in a hat and recently, whatever treatment Ethan gets Kiera wants also. So when Ethan got the hat; we had to pull out one of Kiera's old hats that barely fits. But they both looked cute.

Little Jock

Our little Ethan is growing so fast. He is already in #3 diapers and in 6 mo. old clothing. I wish that I could find onesie extenders or something to make his clothes last longer. I know they make them but just can't find them. Anyway, we had our own little photo shoot yesterday to show off Ethan's athletic gear. It was cut short when Kiera got into the action as you can see from the last picture.

Summer Time Fun

Summer is finally showing its face again. We decided we'd better take advantage of it while it was here so Kiera tested out her new kiddie pool. She had sooo much fun, it was hard to tear her from it. And of course we couldn't leave Ethan out; so there is a cute picture of him too.

Lazy Day at Home

It is now the month of May and so I am keeping up to date with the blog. I caught Kiera lounging in her Seattle Sea Hawks chair while watching Meet the Robinson's. She looks comfy. Ethan was all smiles in his swing and I just had to get the camera out.
