I've been keeping busy with a couple sewing projects lately. I was hired to sew a skirt for a friend of mine so she would have something to wear to her brother's wedding and since I was already at Joanne's helping her pick out the pattern and fabric I decided, "why not get something for me too." So that is where it all started. I swear I get stuck in that store every time I go in, and I always get more than what I intended to. But to justify my purchases; I plan on making a dress for Kiera and a matching skirt for myself for Easter. So in reality, I am just planning ahead right? Ha ha.
I am just about finished with this one. I just have to finish the top edge and it will be done. But I just thought it was too cute not to take a picture of it now. I made the belt reversible so I could wear it with some of my other skirts too.

This turned out super cute! I have a pattern for a similar skirt, with little belt, and I haven't been inspired to use it yet. Maybe I'll have to break it out now... Good job, I can't wait to see it in person!
Brittany, your skirt is adorable. I love it! What a talent you have.
