Here's a close-up
It was really easy to do too. I just made two 9x13 cakes, stacked them on top of each other, and cut it into the shape of a "2". Then I made some buttercream icing from scratch (the best!) and used a hint of coconut extract for some extra flavor. The toy cars are just some of his recent favorites (and yes I washed them first), and the stop sign is just red cardstock and a toothpick. Way cute!
You are amazing! He will love it. Wish I could be there.
ReplyDeleteuhm, I LOVE IT! Amazing. You are amazing. I would never have thought to turn a 2 into a race track! So clever. Happy Birthday Ethan!
ReplyDeleteHow adorable is that? Any two year old boy would be thrilled with a birthday cake like that.
ReplyDeleteThat is absolutely adorable, I bet your little man loved it.
ReplyDeleteI made a similar cake for my youngest son's third birthday. I didn't think of making it in the shape of a number. Love that idea! It turned out so cute!
