Bedtime routines at our house are usually a dual parenting task but recently we decided that while one parent puts the kids down to bed the other takes on the task of cleaning up the kitchen. It is going to help me keep up with the house and have more quality time with the kids during the day (and can I just mention that it was Dan's idea! I love that man!)
Anyways, tonight after singing the song "A Child's Prayer" to Kiera tonight at bedtime she turns and says, "Mommy can you teach that song to daddy?" I love it!
