Trip to the Patch

We finally made it to the pumpkin patch! The weather cleared up nicely today and as soon as Dan got home from the 50 miler bike ride with the boy scouts we headed over there. We got there a half an hour after it was supposed to close, but were still able to do a hayride, see the animals, and pick two pumpkins for the kids to paint on Monday for FHE. I guess it pays to be nice and to have two anxious kids with you. Hehe. We didn't get a whole lot of pictures as I had hoped since we were rushed but at least we got a few to prove we were there.

This is us on the hayride pulled by a big red tractor. Ethan thought the "voom voom" was pretty cool. Kiera was being a stinker and wouldn't smile for the pictures. There's that hunger factor again I guess. We did go to Pizza Hut for dinner afterward though.

Yeah a smile from Kiera. Now we just have to work on looking at the camera.

Time to go. Kiera held out her hand because she wanted to make sure her brother was safe when they got to the parking lot.  Ethan was very appreciative and they held hands all the way to the car. It was pretty cute. I am so glad they are buddies.
