Thank You Cards.

Last night I was in need of a retreat. I have spent the last two days working really hard on potty training and taking care of my sick 22 month old. Needless to say I was worn out and needed to do something fun for a change. I'm not saying that I don't love my kids and I do love the cuddle time I get when they are sick (it's the only time they let me cuddle them) but it was draining and I needed a change.
I decided to start making thank you cards. I have been wanting to catch up on all the Christmas Thank You's too so I was being productive at the same time. Woot woot! Dan got me two giant stacks of VERY cute scrap-booking paper for Christmas so I broke that out. There's nothing better than new craft supplies!  I made a total of 5 cards last night using 3 different papers and still have TONS leftover from those sheets.

Aren't they cute?

The cards look great! You sure were productive in your found time. Hope the kids feel better soon. I totally understand your *need* for a craft break and I don't even have kids!

I love every single one of those cards! You're right, that really is cute paper. :)

Thanks for joining my linky party. I hope your baby is feeling better soon.

Love the cards! It's so inspiring to create something when you're worn out--it just makes you happy! Hope your baby is better and that the potty training is going well!

Brittany, I LOVE your cards! I am so impressed. Good luck with potty training and poor sick ethan. I am happy Mary has been accident free the last two days. I was starting to wonder if she was on her way on a downhill slide in oregon. She had some sort of minor accident almost every day. But I am happy now that she is home we can settle in on a better routine!
