I really wish I had taken better shots of them but oh well...
This pendant necklace is one I made for my Grandma T. Its a picture of my Grandpa. I added the pearl charm (its actually an earring that I wore on my wedding day! I bent the metal with needle nose pliers to create a charm). From what I hear she was very excited when she opened it. Wish I could have been there to see her face.
This one I made for my mom. I wasn't quite sure if 4 tiles was going to be too much at once but I really liked how it turned out. My mom loved it too. She opened it up on Sunday morning before church and said it was perfect because she had been looking for a black necklace to go with her outfit that day.
I made a key chain for my Mother-in-law since I haven't really seen her wear necklaces and my husband didn't think she would either. I used a pressed flower from my collection on the middle tile and turned it sideways. I sandwiched the grosgrain ribbon between two sheets of paper and glazed over each layer individually while letting it dry between layers. One thing I learned with hers was that super glue is needed when attaching the bail to the back because 2 minutes after opening her gift, the bail fell off. Good thing it is an easy fix.
My daughter watched me make these and really wanted one of her own. She specifically requested a "sunshine one" So I did just that. I just drew a sunshine on some regular copy paper in crayon to give it that special "kid look." The next day I gave it to her as a reward for going an entire day using the potty without any accidents! It was a major celebration and she loved it!
For my Mother's day gift/birthday present my husband and I had a two night "staycation" in Seattle. It was wonderful! I'll be posting about that soon. Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day!

lovely jewelry! i was looking for a link where you sell your items.
Great job on the gifts and Happy late Mother's Day!
I love glass tile pendants - I did the same thing for mother's day. I also used CandyTiles and if you mention my blog to her you can get 10% off - I did a big group craft with them, it was lots of fun!
